User Focus

When creating products and services to customers and users it is necessary to understand their needs, values, their purchasing- or work procedures – to know their lives. This applies whether it is designing a new IT system, a new product, or a new service.

Based on methods for collecting user needs, we offer help with developing better products and services.

Using methods inspired by anthropology we gather knowledge about the needs and daily life – both on short and long terms, and in private and professional contexts.

We can also offer social platforms for information gathering and work with partners who can provide this.

Some of the methods we offer are:

  • Interviews
  • Interviews in user contexts
  • Observations
  • Shadowing
  • Diary Studies
  • Focus Groups
  • Focus groups in user contexts.
  • Inspirational methods: eg. Cultural Probes.

Feel free to contact us for a discussion about which methods that are appropriate for your project.
